Your adventure begins in the Kombinat Hills, where panoramic views of the city stretch beneath your feet. Explore abandoned bunkers silent witnesses of a different time and walk trails lined with wildflowers, pine trees, and peaceful silence.
As the day gently unwinds, we make our way to Prush Lake, arriving just as the sky begins to change. The sun dips low, casting reflections over the calm waters, giving you time to relax, reflect, and take in the golden-hour beauty.
Verdant Ventures is not about rushing it’s about wandering. It’s for those who want to find peace in the hills, stories in the ruins, and stillness by the water.
🕙 10:00 AM – Departure from Tirana City Center
Meet your Herd Tours guide and group in the morning. After a short introduction, we begin our adventure toward the western hills of Tirana, away from the urban rush and into greener paths.
🚐 10:30 AM – Arrival near Kombinat Trails
We reach the outskirts of the city and start our walk along the Kombinat Trails. This area offers peaceful forest paths, scenic hills, and a unique side of Tirana rarely seen by visitors.
🥾 11:00 AM – Guided Hike & Bunker Exploration
As we hike, we encounter remnants of Albania's past—old bunkers hidden in the forest, whispering stories from a different time. Your guide will share their historical context and interesting facts along the way.
🌲 12:30 PM – Break Among the Pines
We take a mid-day break in the forest. You’ll have time to relax, enjoy the fresh air, or take in the view. A great opportunity to snap photos or simply unwind beneath the shade of pine trees.
🚶♂️ 1:15 PM – Walk to Prush Lake
We continue toward Prush Lake, a hidden gem tucked away in the hills. This tranquil spot feels far from the city, offering calm water reflections and peaceful surroundings.
🌅 2:00 PM – Scenic Pause by the Lake
Enjoy some downtime by the lakeshore. Depending on the season, you may catch golden sunlight dancing on the water. This is a great moment to enjoy a light snack or stretch your legs.
📸 3:00 PM – Tirana Viewpoint Stop
Before heading back, we stop at a panoramic viewpoint, where the city stretches out below in contrast to the green hills behind you. It’s a quiet reminder of how close nature and urban life truly are here.
🚌 4:00 PM – Return to Tirana
We wrap up our exploration and begin the ride back into the heart of the city.
🕔 4:30 PM – Arrival in Tirana
End of the trip. You return not only with photos, but with a new perspective on Tirana and its untamed surroundings.
